My name is Don Ellis. I would like to take a couple minutes of your time to introduce myself to you. I am a Landstar agent ( freight broker ) with a proven track record. I have over 20 years in the transportation industry ranging from a company driver, to fleet owner, to broker. I opened my Landstar agency in 2008 and have built one of the most successful agencies at Landstar. We have a long list of satisfied customers. Even though we are one of the largest agencies, we are still able to provide the personal service required in today's market. Every customer is assigned an account manager who works with you daily to solve your transportation needs. Both myself and the account manager assigned to you will visit your location at your convenience and get to know your shipping staff in person. This allows us to learn about your individual needs and put a strategy together to better serve you. Some brokers seem to treat shippers with a one size fits all mentality. We have found that by getting to know the shippers individual needs we are better able to service you. Please give us the opportunity to provide the much needed capacity to your company. Landstar has approximately 10,000 trucks along with more than 35,000 carriers. Our network of Landstar trucks and carriers allows us to provide capacity at a much higher level than our competitors. The Transportation Market has seen major changes this year. One of the biggest changes was the mandate for all trucks to install electronic logs.
