We purchased you’re simply perfect sweet potato steamers, we microwaved them tonight all worked as directed. It was when we opened the bag that we noticed that the potatoes were dirty, We would normally eat the skin but had to be careful to keep the grit on the outside and not in our mouth. I would assume that ready to steam food would be pre-washed prior to packing. Thanks
